It is reported that on Ansett airlines, one of their employees, Mr. Gay, was taking advantage of a free ride offer for staff when the plane was overbooked and one of the stewardesses came to ask him to debark and wait for the next flight. They found the wrong person, who they confronted with the question "are you gay?" to which the passenger humbly answered "yes." And they responded, "then you have to get off the plane". Mr. Gay interrupted the conversation from the aisle behind the confronted passenger to say "No. No. I'm the Gay you're looking for" at which point a third passenger joined the conversation to add "I'm gay too! They can't kick us ALL off the flight!"
